Early Wednesday morning, an amber alert shook the Huntington Park community, as authorities sought an 18-year-old man named David Avalos, suspected of abducting a 9-month-old child, Jaydan Avalos. According to a report by ABC7, the relationship between the suspect and the infant was not detailed, but the suspect was described as "armed and dangerous."
In a twist of events with the red 2017 Lexus sedan as a focal point, identified as the suspect's vehicle, the California Highway Patrol disseminated the plea for public vigilance. David Avalos stood 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a heft about 230 pounds, paired with brown hair and eyes. Mirroring these specifics, albeit at infancy, Jaydan was depicted with blonde hair and brown eyes, barely 2 feet tall, circling a weight of 20 pounds. As per KTLA's account, the Amber Alert was set into urgent motion early morning and precisely lifted just over an hour later as the child was reported found.
The brevity of information subsequent to the child's recovery highlighted a thick shade of mystery - authorities remained silent on how and where Jaydan was found, as well as on the status of David Avalos, whose whereabouts at the point of the child's recovery were not disclosed.
