Authorities are reaching out to the public for assistance in the hunt for two men accused of a violent crime in Loma Linda. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department, on the night of Wednesday, September 11, deputies were called to a scene near California Street and Redlands Boulevard, where they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. The Sheriff's report disclosed that the victim, identified as John Flores, a 39-year-old with no permanent residence, was quickly taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Found near a wash area known for its illicit drug activities, Flores was bleeding profusely upon the deputies' arrival. Witnesses present during the event described the assailants as a Hispanic male and a White male, divulging that the Hispanic might be known as "Lil G." The suspects reportedly fled the scene in a dark blue sedan, distinguishable by its fully tinted windows. It is suspected by authorities that fentanyl, a potent synthetic opioid, could be at the heart of this assault.
Detective K. Garabedian of the Central Station has been appointed to lead the investigation and is soliciting the public's help to apprehend the individuals responsible for this crime. In their efforts to solve this case, they are urging anyone with insights that might lead to the identification and whereabouts of the suspects to come forward with this critical information.
