
Yesterday at 3:42 a.m., officers were dispatched to a reported burglary on the 1700 block of Eastern Avenue, where they found three suspects attempting to break into a building. The Baltimore Police Department swiftly apprehended two of the suspects, who were both identified as 14-year-old males.

After their arrest, the two suspects were transported to the Juvenile Justice Center for a detention review. Despite their involvement in the burglary, both teens were eventually released to their guardians following the evaluation. One of the suspects has a concerning history, with two prior arrests for charges including stolen auto, assault, and robbery.
The incident highlights ongoing concerns about juvenile crime, particularly involving repeat offenders. Law enforcement continues to address such issues while working with community resources to deter future criminal activity among young individuals.
