
The Baltimore Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection to a Northwest District shooting incident from August. According to a post by Baltimore Police, 44-year-old Baltimore resident Travis Maynor has been charged with attempted first-degree murder following his alleged involvement in a shooting that left a 28-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Northwest District on August 20, 2024, investigators have arrested 44-year-old Travis Maynor of Baltimore.

On the night of August 20, at around 10:06 p.m., gunfire pierced the calm of the 4100 block of Patterson Avenue, prompting officers to rush to the scene where the unidentified male victim was found. Succumbing to his injuries, the victim was promptly transported to a hospital for emergency care. The case was then taken over by Northwest District Shooting detectives who, through their investigation, identified Maynor as the suspect.
The detectives issued an arrest warrant for Maynor on September 4, and the pursuit led them to a home on the 300 block of Gwynn Avenue. On September 17, without incident, Maynor was apprehended. Following his arrest, he has been detained in the Central Booking Intake Facility, facing serious charges stemming from the violent event in the Northwest District.
