Kalamazoo authorities have reported the safe return of Tina Coville, a 65-year-old woman who was previously declared missing and endangered. Coville, who requires a wheelchair, was last seen at her home yesterday around 4 p.m. before she vanished without a trace. In a statement obtained by WZZM13, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) detailed that she was wearing sweatpants and a white t-shirt at the time she was last seen.
The call for public assistance in finding Tina came with urgency due to her medical conditions, as emphasized by the KDPS's request for anyone with information to come forward. A collaborative effort ensued as community members and the local authorities searched for the missing woman. In an article posted by WOODTV, it was mentioned that special attention was brought to bear on Coville's well-being because of her medical needs.
Fortunately, the search ended positively. Today, approximately 18 hours after she was reported missing, KDPS confirmed that Coville had been found safe. The prompt update was shared via the department's social media, where a heartfelt thank you was extended to those involved in the search. Kalamazoo Public Safety (KDPS) expressed gratitude on X, stating: "Tina Marie Coville has been located and is safe. Thank you to everyone who shared our post and aided in us finding Ms. Coville."
