Over the weekend, the Kalamazoo community was struck by a bank robbery that led to a quick arrest and arraignment. 36-year-old Malcolm Domonique Graham stands accused of robbing the Kalsee Credit Union on Portage Street just before the hour of 10 in the morning on Saturday. He is now facing four counts of bank robbery and one count of unarmed robbery, as reported by FOX 17 Online.

Graham allegedly demanded and forcibly took money from the bank's tellers before fleeing on foot. According to WWMT, his escape was short-lived as Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers apprehended him later the same day. Currently, Graham's bond has been set at $75,000.

The Kalamazoo Public Safety officials have expressed gratitude to the community members who came forward to assist in the case. "We thank the community for their vigilance and support throughout this case," officers stated in a release obtained by MLive
