As provided in their recent update, residents can anticipate a cloudy Thursday, with a 40% chance of rain and potential thunderstorms post-11 am, and temperatures reaching a high near 80 degrees. The NWS predicts negligible new rainfall amounts, except where thunderstorms occur, which may result in higher amounts.
Moving into the evening, the chance of showers and thunderstorms drops to a slight 20%, with somewhat persistent conditions anticipated, although the temperatures should cool down to around 67 degrees. According to the latest weather report by the NWS, wind speeds will be mild, shifting from south to southeast after midnight. The forecast heading into Friday remains largely unchanged, with a continued chance of showers and a high near 74 degrees.
The outlook for Friday night suggests showers are likely, as the probability of precipitation increase to 60%. A cloudy night with a low around 66 degrees is forecasted, accompanied by an east wind traveling at 5 to 10 mph. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch are possible.
The weekend forecast hints at more of the same with chances of showers primarily after 2pm on Saturday, maintaining a 30% likelihood throughout the evening. It is expected to be cloudy with highs near 75 and lows around 63, respectively. The pattern of shower chances and cloudy skies continues into Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, with slight variations in temperature hovering in the low 70s during the day and low 60s at night. While a respite from precipitation is anticipated for Sunday, the new week may reintroduce showers by Monday night, with increased chances carrying through Tuesday and Wednesday.
