
The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking help from the community in the search for Brenda Taylor, a missing person they have deemed endangered. According to a bulletin released on the Philadelphia Police Department's blotter, the 66-year-old Taylor was last seen yesterday morning, around 7:30 a.m., at her residence on the 6000 block of Webster Avenue.
Taylor is described as being 5’6” tall and 160 pounds, with brown eyes and salt-and-pepper hair. When she was last seen, she was wearing a gray-green windbreaker jacket, maroon scrub pants, and a black knit head wrap, and she utilized a silver walking cane for mobility. Mrs. Taylor is known to be a regular visitor at places such as the Reading Terminal Market and, the 40th and Walnut library, and is often seen traveling via SEPTA.
The police have reached out to the public for assistance noting that Taylor's safety could be at risk and are asking anyone with information to come forward. Concerned individuals can contact the Southwest Detective Division at 215-686-3183 or call 911.
In an effort to aid in her safe return, residents of Philadelphia are urged to keep an eye out for Taylor and report any sightings or information that may be related to her whereabouts.
