A man has been taken into custody following the fatal shooting of a woman in Orange County, which authorities have determined to be gang-related. 42-year-old Roland Rocha was arrested after an investigation into the death of 20-year-old Jennifer Ninel Rodriguez, as reported by the Santa Ana Police Department via KTLA. The shooting occurred on July 29, around 4 a.m. near 600 South Harbor Boulevard in Santa Ana, where police found Rodriguez with multiple gunshot wounds.

Rodriguez was quickly taken to the hospital for emergency care, but she succumbed to her injuries and passed away. Detectives from the homicide unit identified Rocha as the suspect, leading to his arrest in Compton on September 3. He has been charged with Penal Code § 187(a) - Murder, as stated in an update shared by the Santa Ana Police Department. The assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service was instrumental in apprehending Rocha.
