On October 3, 2024, at approximately 8:34 p.m., Eastern District Action Team officers were conducting an investigation in the 4300 block of Belair Road.

During their operation around the 4300 block of Belair Road, officers attempted to conduct the inquiry thoroughly and safely. However, the situation escalated quickly into a brief foot pursuit. According to information from the authorities, the suspect, whose identity has not yet been released, was apprehended at approximately 8:34 p.m..
Following the arrest, the suspect was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he faces charges including various handgun violations. Among the charges is the possession of a rapid-fire trigger activator—a device that significantly increases the firing capability of a handgun.
