
Detroit citizens woke early Thursday morning to the news of a shooting incident in the city's northwest side. According to Detroit police, at around 4:30 a.m., a 53-year-old man was shot during an altercation with two other men on the 18900 block of Biltmore, near 7 Mile and the Southfield Freeway. As reported by Audacy, after the incident, the suspects fled the scene in a gray Nissan Versa or Sentra.
The search is now on to find the two men responsible. Authorities quickly had to release a photo of the suspect's car, which was last spotted at a gas station in the vicinity of the shooting. Though the exact circumstances that sparked the altercation have not been clarified, the description of the suspects is currently circulating: one male with a medium complexion and short braids or locs and another with a darker complexion, also sporting short braids or locs.
This unfortunate event has left the victim hospitalized. His status and the nature of his injuries have not been detailed, yet he is known to be receiving care at a local hospital.
