The city of Columbus has recently seen the apprehension of four individuals in connection with a fatal shooting in the South Linden neighborhood. According to WBNS, 18-year-old Sincere Langford, 20-year-old Marcus Person Jr., and brothers 19-year-old Kenrell Felton and 21-year-old Terrell Felton have been charged with the murder of 33-year-old Rayshawn Rogers following an incident on September 19.
Police responded to the 1100 block of East 12th Avenue, finding Rogers with gunshot wounds. The SWAT team arrested Langford and Terrell without incident, and Kenrell turned himself in at police headquarters. In contrast, investigation shows that they, along with Person, were seen exiting a stolen red Ford Escape and opening fire toward a home, which ultimately led to Rogers succumbing to his injuries at Grant Medical Center last Sunday as details emerge about the night of the shooting.
Additional details from a Dispatch report explained that upon recovering the stolen vehicle, homicide detectives found fingerprints from Langford as well as Kenrell inside, reinforcing the tie to the crime scene, which dovetails with surveillance footage obtained before the shooting that showed the suspects together in several locations.
A probable cause affidavit mentioned by ABC6 indicated that video evidence recorded the suspects wearing similar clothing on the evening of the crime, and all four are accused of firing multiple gunshots at Rogers' residence.
