Fans awaiting the electric slide of pop through Columbus, Ohio, will have to hang tight a little longer. Justin Timberlake, the famed singer embarking on his "Forget Tomorrow" tour, has postponed his upcoming concert at Nationwide Arena, as NBC4i reports. Citing health issues, specifically bronchitis, and laryngitis, the entertainer took to his social media to inform and apologize to his audience. Initially scheduled for Oct. 23, the show has been moved to Feb. 27, 2025.
An update on Nationwide Arena's website confirmed that all tickets purchased through Ticketmaster for the original date will still be valid for the rescheduled event. Unfortunately, amidst his tour, Timberlake made headlines in June after getting charged with driving while intoxicated in New York. Following a plea agreement in September, as NBC4i reported, he was sentenced to pay fines and complete community service.
Timberlake addressed his fans directly on his Instagram, stating, "Hey guys - I haven’t been feeling great the last few shows and turns out I have bronchitis and laryngitis. I’m so sorry to say I do need to reschedule the next few shows from 10/23 through 11/2. New dates listed above Thank you for understanding - I'll make it up to you - JT." This heartfelt message echoed the artist's intentions to deliver performances worth waiting for, as noted in the The Columbus Dispatch.
In addition to Columbus, other stops, including Chicago, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Milwaukee, and St. Paul, will experience the stage void of Timberlake's presence until the rescheduled dates in February 2025. The artist, having to cancel the shows, has promised to return with the vivacity his fans have grown accustomed to. As ABC6 reported, Timberlake's dedication to his craft and fanbase remains clear despite the unforeseen setbacks.
