Just when you thought Las Vegas couldn't surprise you with another flashy attraction, here comes a haunted maze that offers more than just screams; it gives back too. In a report by KTNV, Nathan Harris, the owner of the Halloween maze located at 8665 W Flamingo Rd, Suite 114, shares his vision of not just creating another haunted house, but a landmark Halloween experience for the Las Vegas Valley.
Drawing in the crowds with a mix of horror and heart, the maze, which operates from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. nightly through November 1, isn't just about the chills. Not one to shy away from big dreams, Harris said on KTNV, "We want to be a lot bigger than a haunted house. We know Universal [Studios] is just around the corner, so we want to set the landmark for what haunting is in Las Vegas." In an interesting twist of events, the maze not only sets out to spook its visitors but also dedicates efforts to supporting Child Haven Boys and Girls Shelter, aiming to bring some holiday cheer to those who may not have family to experience it with.
It's not strictly about the boos and ghouls at this maze; Harris and his team are determined to deliver a constantly evolving experience. He emphasized variety, telling KTNV, "We try to make it fun every time you come here. Every year is completely different." This commitment to reinvention ensures that each visit remains a unique journey through the macabre.
The effort to frighten and delight extends beyond philanthropy, incorporating fresh scares each season. Teasing the new thrills, an Instagram post from halloweenmazelv invites visitors with the promise of "New characters", "New themes." The haunting commenced earlier this month, enticing the bravest souls starting September 27 from 7pm-12am. But be warned, procrastination will cost you—ticket prices will increase as the peak of the season approaches, a reminder eerily whispered by the chilling Halloween maze's Instagram feed.
