Two men from Los Angeles were apprehended by deputies after purportedly following a victim to their Chino Hills home and burglarizing the victim's vehicle for jewelry and cash, an incident described by authorities as "jugging," according to a press release posted by the SBSD - Chino Hills Police Department. Suspects Yanco Maldonado, 33, and Jose Antonio Dominguez, 35, were identified in a vehicle burglary that occurred on September 25, in the 2200 block of Olivine Drive. The victim, who remains confidential, found their car's rear window shattered and valuables stolen after only a brief time away.

The detectives from Chino Hills were able to link Maldonado and Dominguez to the crime scene through an investigation that involved tracking two suspect vehicles and resulted in traffic stops in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles two days later, the suspects were then arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center. During the investigation, it became clear that the victim had been followed from Los Angeles and targeted because of the jewelry inside their vehicle.
