Three individuals from Los Angeles were apprehended earlier this month, implicated in a series of home burglaries in Thousand Oaks, Ventura County. On October 4, deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, along with detectives, snagged the trio during what appeared to be yet another burglary attempt, KTLA reported. The arrests happened after two other break-ins were flagged in the same neighborhood earlier that day.
The suspects, identified as Luis Corredor-Fernandez, 29, Diego Gama-Fernandez, 21, and Sebastian Moreno, 26, are believed to be connected to additional burglaries within the city. The crimes stretched out over the past year, adding a layer of concern for residents who regard Thousand Oaks as a relatively safe community. Each suspect's bail was set at $50,000, according to a news release from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators stress the importance of community vigilance, encouraging residents to report any suspicious activity. "The arrest of these suspects was made possible by the citizens of Thousand Oaks in their quick decision to call the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office to report these crimes," the Sheriff's Office emphasized.
