Between the 5th and 11th of October, San Bernardino saw an intensification in crime suppression efforts as the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department launched Operation Consequences. The operation targeted areas heavily impacted by criminal activities, including the 7000 block of Conejo Drive, the 1600 block of Kendall Drive, and the 1500 block of Davidson Street.
In a concentrated effort to quickly reduce violent crime, investigators teamed up with deputies from patrol stations to conduct the operation. According to an official release by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, the operation resulted in six felony arrests and the seizure of 16 firearms, including one so-called ghost gun, and over eight pounds of narcotics. Investigators also found and confiscated multiple illegal fireworks.
