
Early this morning, a tragic incident occurred in Pomona when a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle. The Pomona Police Department has confirmed through a press release that the fatal collision took place around 5:15 A.M. at the intersection of Mission Blvd. and Reservoir St. Authorities are investigating the accident, with the Major Accident Investigation Team taking the lead on the inquiry.
The victim, identified only as an adult male pending notification of next of kin, was found lying on the road with severe injuries. Despite the efforts by first responders to perform life-saving measures, he ultimately passed away at the scene. Local law enforcement officials have confirmed that the driver involved in the collision remained on scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.
