
The Philadelphia Police Department has made a public appeal seeking assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a recent shooting incident, which took place in the city's 18th District. According to a video released by the department, last Thursday, at approximately 2:41 a.m., officers responded to a call reporting that a man had been shot outside of 151 South 60th Street. The 35-year-old male victim was transported to the hospital for a gunshot wound to the left leg, sustained during what is described as a robbery.
The Philadelphia Police's official release states that the suspect was captured fleeing the scene, and is characterized by a distinct walk or limp. He is described as a thin-build black male, donning a black hoodie with a white Nike logo, a white t-shirt beneath it, paired with dark green or gray cargo pants, and black New Balance sneakers. The police are urging the public to be vigilant and to immediately contact 911 if they happen to directly encounter this individual.
