Notably, Round Rock's grasp on digital platforms was highlighted through their first-place win for Social Media: Best Overall Strategy, crediting their Instagram strategy that leans on short-form, vertical video to engage with the community effectively.
As reported by the City of Round Rock, their social media prowess was again underscored with another top award for Best Campaign Use, attributed to a campaign that played a critical role in keeping residents informed during winter weather emergencies, in recent history, campaigns of this sort have become more and more crucial in municipalities' efforts to communicate urgent information quickly and efficiently the awards didn't stop there, though, with educational initiatives and artistic vision also getting their due recognition.
Video production, another area where Round Rock's skills shone through, earned them a first-place award for an Educational Training video with a Wes Anderson theme, a creative touch to what could otherwise be mundanity. Meanwhile, the city's commitment to the arts was applauded through a first in Community Visioning for the "Round Rock Creates" Arts Master Plan, a blueprint for fostering artistic expression and appreciation throughout the community.
When it comes to discernible city symbols, Round Rock didn't miss the mark, their new branding initiative for the Round Rock Public Library earned them first in Marketing and Tools: Branding/New Logo, visually encapsulating the city's growth and progressiveness. Furthermore, the city's talent for capturing moments was recognized with a second-place award for Multi-Use Image, thanks to its vibrant photography during the annual July 4 Parade while its design sensibilities for the Downtown Round Rock historic walking guide didn't go unnoticed with both a second-place finish in Graphic Design and a third in Marketing and Tools: Best Use of a Promotional Item.
