A San Bernardino man has been taken into custody on alleged multiple counts of sexual assault involving a minor, and authorities are now suggesting there may be more victims. David Dionisio Wolfe, described as a transient 29-year-old, is accused of carrying out lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, as reported by the SBSD - Hesperia Police Department.
Local law enforcement began their investigation following allegations received concerning Wolfe's conduct with a male teenager. According to information shared by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, "Through investigation, investigators discovered Wolfe sexually assaulted the victim on multiple occasions." Wolfe was apprehended on September 24 and is currently at the High Desert Detention Center charged with serious sexual offenses.
Authorities, now hedging on the possibility that this case extends beyond a single victim, are urging anyone who might have relevant information or may have been victimized by Wolfe to come forward.
