Studio Park Tower Enhances Grand Rapids Skyline with Luxury Apartments and High-End AmenitiesSource: Google Street View

Grand Rapids' skyline has a new addition with the official opening of Studio Park Tower, a 16-story high-rise designed for both luxury and community engagement. Located at 114 Oakes St. at Ionia Avenue, the building towers at 260 feet and offers a mix of 160 market-rate apartments, along with 24 condominiums, providing a variety of living options for downtown residents. FOX 17 coverage of the ribbon-cutting ceremony highlighted the building's offerings which include floor-to-ceiling windows, full-size washers and dryers, and most units come with the added luxury of a balcony.

Offering a glimpse into the urban living experience the building seeks to provide, Studio C CEO J.D. Loeks shared his enthusiasm about living in the towering structure himself. "This is phase three of Studio Park coming online now, but it's a pretty rare thing to be able to build a skyline building in your own hometown," Loeks stated in an interview with FOX 17. He emphasized the rarity and honor of the project and extending the invitation to "a couple of 100 other residents" to join him in the state-of-the-art residence.

As part of its aim to foster a sense of community, the building boasts an array of amenities designed to encourage wellness and social interaction among its inhabitants. Along with the aforementioned sky deck complete with grills, tables, and chairs, the building offers a lap pool, a private sun deck, and a pickleball court. Already begun moving in, almost a third of the units were pre-leased with anticipation that Studio Park Lofts will reach full occupancy within six months, as reported by WOODTV.

Studio Park Lofts, however, isn't just about the physical amenities. "We really designed a lot of our amenities around this idea of bringing people together, which is the purpose of our company," Loeks told WOODTV, noting activities such as group fitness classes that invite residents to socialize and stay active. The lofts feature not only a fitness center but also a community room that offers a versatile space for co-working, socializing, and private events.

Further to its high-end offerings, the tower includes a dog washroom, bike storage, and meeting rooms, with an upcoming golf simulator and sauna to enhance the living experience of residents seeking luxury in a community setting. Prices for apartments range from approximately $1,400 to $3,200, and condos start at around $500,000, going up to over $1.25 million for larger units. According to MLive, the apartments are expected to fill up before the condos sell, with about 60 leases signed and many residents having moved in over the past two weeks. The project, envisioned to enhance the energy and vibrancy of downtown Grand Rapids, stands as a testament to the city's growth and appeal to varied demographics, including young professionals, empty nesters, and families seeking an urban lifestyle.
