Wyandotte’s riverfront nightlife just got a little brighter. Luna Bar & Bistro is staking out the evening crowd with sweeping water views and a menu that mixes New American cooking with French and Middle Eastern influences. Inside, the space leans into the name: chandeliers are arranged to resemble constellations, while the kitchen focuses on made-from-scratch dishes that skew toward date nights, anniversaries, and other “let’s actually sit down and enjoy this” occasions.
According to ClickOnDetroit, owner Michael Delly said, “What we created is some of the chandeliers kind of mimic stars and, you know, looking from outer space.” The station’s Live In The D segment offers a quick look at the dining room and several plated dishes. Delly also told the outlet that much of the menu is prepared from scratch to keep flavors distinct and seasonal.
Menu, reservations and where to sit
The restaurant’s website lists steaks, seafood, house-made pastas, and a compact cocktail and wine program, and gives the address as 2910 Van Alstyne St. Per Luna Bar & Bistro, the kitchen emphasizes seasonal ingredients and scratch cooking, and the site posts hours and a reservations contact for diners planning an evening by the river. The room offers indoor seating oriented toward the water and a bar program intended to complement the food.
How Luna fits into Wyandotte's dining scene
Wyandotte has used its Social District program to strengthen riverfront dining, and the city lists Luna Bar & Bistro among participating establishments on its official Social District page. City meeting records from late 2024 also show the business operating under Wyandotte Bistro LLC and seeking approvals related to downtown programming. Luna joins a growing roster of sit-down options that give downtown Wyandotte more evening and weekend life.
Practical details, including hours, a reservations contact, and the phone number (734) 556-3195 are available on the restaurant’s site. For now, Luna is positioning itself as an elevated-but-approachable riverfront option for Downriver diners, and those curious can watch the short ClickOnDetroit feature to see the space and some of the dishes.
