Two Los Angeles residents, Marvin Tyrone Denson, aged 21, and Justice Clayton, 23, were arrested and identified following extensive investigations as the primary suspects in a string of over 30 commercial burglaries spanning several counties, as reported by the SBSD Fontana Sheriff's Department. During the early hours of September 1, the nascent investigation by Fontana Station deputies revealed the suspects' forced entry into a Bloomington business, where they stole lottery tickets, alcohol, and cigarettes before escaping in a Tesla.
Subsequent burglaries in Bloomington implicated the same perpetrators and the same dark gray vehicle, leading to an expanded investigation encompassing San Bernardino County and beyond. In a coordinated effort outlined in the sheriff's department release, Fontana Station investigators joined forces with multiple law enforcement agencies to address leads that connected Denson and Clayton to the ongoing burglary spree not only locally but also in neighboring Los Angeles and Riverside Counties.
Warrants served on September 30 resulted in the arrest of both Denson and Clayton. Searches conducted at residences linked to them in Los Angeles and San Bernardino County unearthed a cache of potentially incriminating items, including sledgehammers, pry tools, unregistered firearms, and evidence of the stolen goods. The operational vehicle, a Tesla, suspected in the burglaries, was also located at the scene. The suspects face charges of burglary, conspiracy, and committing a felony while out on bail, according to the Fontana Sheriff's Department.
The counties impacted by this criminal activity include San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and Riverside. Anyone with related information is encouraged to contact the We-Tip Hotline or leave an anonymous tip on their website.
