
Following an armed carjacking incident in Northeast Baltimore, police have taken into custody three teenagers. According to a post by the Baltimore Police, the event took place on the 3000 block of Frisby Street on the evening of October 1. The victim, a 21-year-old, was approached by the trio brandishing firearms and was forcibly divested of personal property before the assailants absconded with the victim's Toyota.

In reference to an armed carjacking that occurred in the 3000 block of Frisby Street, on October 1, 2024, at approximately 10:35 p.m., officers have arrested three 17-year-old males.

The initial search by responding officers, conducted posthaste, failed to locate the stolen vehicle immediately. The break in the case came on October 2, when officers working a crime suppression detail were tipped off to the presence of the stolen vehicle around Frankford Avenue at Belair Road. The police endeavored to apprehend the suspects, who, in an attempt to evade capture, collided with a patrol vehicle.
The confrontation led to a foot pursuit in the 1600 block of Sherwood Avenue, where all three suspects were arrested. Due to the collision, one officer was hospitalized with injuries deemed non-life-threatening. In a continuation of the mishap, two of the suspects were remanded to the Juvenile Justice Center. At the same time, the third found himself charged as an adult with multiple serious offenses, including armed carjacking and armed robbery.
