Westfield Topanga Mall became the scene of another brazen robbery on Friday when a group of smash-and-grab thieves targeted high-end retail stores. According to ABC7, suspects in hoodies were caught on camera stealing designer bags and clothing from a Valentino store at around 5:00 p.m. The report indicated that this event marked the second occurrence of such nature at the Canoga Park Mall in a fortnight.

In a separate incident, a Nordstrom store within the same shopping center was also hit by thieves. Video captured the perpetrators carrying stacks of clothes as they swiftly exited the store, NBC Los Angeles reported. The incident echoed a similar theft at the Nordstrom store, back in August 2024.

The Los Angeles Police Department is currently on the lookout for the individuals involved in the latest Valentino smash-and-grab. According to FOX LA, around 20 thieves participated in the robbery, clad in dark clothes and hoodies. A witness captured footage of the group as they raided the store, making off with luxury handbags among other items.

Authorities reported seeing two vehicles, a black Audi, and a white BMW SUV, fleeing after the latest theft. As the LAPD intensifies its investigation, no arrests have yet been made in connection to the string of thefts plaguing Westfield Topanga Mall.
