A Yucaipa man with a history of felonies has found himself on the wrong side of the law again after deputies discovered him with firearms, narcotics, and a 3D printer used for creating gun parts. According to FOX LA, on the evening of October 9, Steven Maine, 32, was arrested following an altercation with a woman near 5th Street and Wildwood Canyon Road.

Upon their arrival, San Bernardino County deputies encountered the pair hiding in bushes near a vacant home. A pat-down revealed Maine, who had an active misdemeanor warrant for his arrest, was carrying a loaded extended 9mm Glock magazine. Investigators scoured the scene, finding an unserialized loaded 9mm Glock handgun, better known as a "Ghost Gun" – a type of firearm that eludes conventional methods of traceability. Additionally, Maine was in possession of brass knuckles, a large hunting knife, methamphetamine, and a scanner tool used for gaining unlawful entry to garage doors and vehicles, reported the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.

The incident prompted a search warrant for Maine's residence. Deputies uncovered more incriminating items – a 3D printer apparently used for making unserialized polymer gun parts, multiple "Ghost Gun" Glock handgun lowers, two AR-15 rifle lowers, alongside evidence of identity and mail theft. "Maine, a convicted felon, was arrested for several felony charges and his outstanding misdemeanor warrant," as per the Sheriff-Coroner Department's release. He was subsequently held at Central Detention Center in San Bernardino, with bail set at $65,000.
