
A suspect has been charged in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred over the weekend in Kalamazoo. FOX17 reported that the incident took place last Saturday night, where two individuals were found with gunshot wounds. One of the victims, identified as 32-year-old Shondale Devos Kellumn from Kalamazoo, succumbed to his injuries.
43-year-old Jasper Hopkins has been charged with open murder, assault with intent to murder, beside several firearms-related offenses, as per WOODTV's coverage of the arraignment that took place on Wednesday. Hopkins, from Kalamazoo, was denied bond. The authorities stated that these events unfolded in the vicinity of Portage Street and E Stockbridge Avenue.
