Irena Kaminska, a 79-year-old woman with dementia who had been missing since early Tuesday morning, was found safe. The Milwaukee Police Department and Wisconsin Department of Justice issued a Silver Alert after Kaminska was last seen on foot around 4:15 a.m. in the 800 block of North 25th Street, as The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
A Silver Alert was issued for Kaminska, who was last seen in Milwaukee's Avenues West neighborhood. The alert was canceled after she was found safe at 8:30 a.m., just hours later. Kaminska, diagnosed with dementia, was located quickly, according to WISN.
Kaminska, a 5-foot-tall, 155-pound white woman with brown eyes and gray or partially gray hair, was last seen wearing a green winter jacket with a fur hood, black pants, and black-and-white tennis shoes. After she went missing, a Silver Alert was issued, as stated by FOX 6 Now.
