Palmdale is set to kick off the holiday season with the Pines and Presents Tree Lot, bringing festive cheer to the local community. According to the City of Palmdale, the tree lot will open its doors from November 29 to December 22 at the Palmdale Auto Mall. Opening hours are 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday through Sunday.

"We're excited to launch this first-of-its-kind tree lot in Palmdale, which is sure to bring joy and laughter to our community," said Mayor Austin Bishop, as stated by the City of Palmdale. The tree lot aims to offer an immersive experience with the scent of pine, holiday music, and decorations meant to delight families preparing for the festivities.

Visitors to the tree lot can indulge in a variety of family-friendly activities including DIY crafts ranging from $5-10, letter writing to Santa, and numerous photo ops. Amidst these holiday features, a practical edge of community philanthropy is present. The City of Palmdale encourages attendees to donate a new, unwrapped toy to benefit The WOW Flower Project. Donors receive a $10 discount on their tree lot purchase as a show of gratitude for their contribution.

Weekends at the lot are notably festive with additional treats such as complimentary cookies and hot cocoa, while supplies last. Adding to the enchantment, live carolers will grace the lot with songs of joy from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturdays. Mayor Pro Tem Richard J. Loa noted, "It is also a great opportunity to give back by bringing gifts for The WOW Flower Project," as per the City of Palmdale, ensuring that visitors are aware that their generosity supports Angel Tree's mission to connect incarcerated parents with their children during the holiday season.
