The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s help to locate a missing teenager, Kentaya Helms, who has been reported missing from the 22nd District. According to a notice released on the police blotter, the 15-year-old Black female was last seen at Broad & Spring Garden last Thursday.
Kentaya, whose description includes her being approximately 5’6” and weighing about 100 pounds, was wearing a black hoodie, black shirt, black pants and beige sneakers at the time she went missing. And while specific details regarding her disappearance have not been made available, authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as she may be in the vicinity of 600 Perth Place, a detail gleaned from the investigation into her last known movements.
