Authorities in Ozaukee County have issued a Silver Alert for an 83-year-old man, Richard Wohlers, from Grafton, who was last seen in the City of Beloit on Thursday evening. According to FOX6 News, Wohlers left his home between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. and was seen at Riverside Gas Mart in Beloit around 5:20 p.m.; notably, he has no connections to the area where he was last spotted.
Wohlers is driving a 2009 Mercury Grand Marquis of a blue-green color, bearing the Wisconsin license plate 987RVJ, as described by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the car is a distinctive feature that could help in identifying his location; law enforcement has communicated concern due to the fact Wohlers is believed to suffer from dementia or a cognitive impairment, enriching the urgency of his safe return.
Described as a white male, approximately 5'11" tall, and weighing 250 pounds with blue eyes and white hair, Wohlers was seen wearing blue jeans, a red puffy vest, and a blue jacket at the time of his disappearance.
