
Authorities in Los Angeles have taken into custody a man believed to be connected to multiple sexual assaults. The Los Angeles Police Department's Central Area Sex Crime Detectives have arrested 37-year-old Kenneth Alan Woolfolk, suspected of being a serial rapist. According to an official release by LAPD, a woman reported on October 3, that she was raped inside a tent near the intersection of 1st Street and Judge John Aiso Street.
During a follow-up investigation in the same area on October 10, detectives located an individual matching the suspect's description, who was later positively identified as Woolfolk, as detailed by the LAPD. It is alleged that Woolfolk sexually assaulted another woman on October 9 in the same vicinity, which led to his subsequent arrest on charges of rape. Despite the bail set at $100,000, the detectives are to thoroughly continue the investigation and actively search for additional victims who may have fallen prey to Woolfolk's pattern of violence.
Woolfolk, described as a male Black, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, and bald with brown eyes, has been connected to three prior sexual assault investigations. As reported by the LAPD, he is a transient resident of Los Angeles, and his criminal history is now punctuated by the serial attacks he's suspected of committing.
