ABC7 reports that the incident occurred during an altercation outside Tina's Tavern on Glendora Avenue at approximately 11:30 p.m., both victims were swiftly transported to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
According to KTLA, there is a possibility of a third victim who might have been privately driven to a hospital. However, the West Covina Police could not confirm this detail. The same source reveals that the suspected getaway vehicle is a "black sedan" yet, at the moment the authorities have not apprehended anyone nor have they released any additional details about the suspect(s).
Investigators were actively processing the scene, and a white sedan was towed away as potential evidence, as stated by SGVCityWatch.
