In a decisive turn for local law enforcement's crusade against narcotics, Santeeno Deon Grant, a resident of Falls Township, was found guilty of multiple drug-related charges. According to Bucks County's official announcement, the conviction came down on Wednesday, implicating Grant in three charges of intent to deliver a controlled substance and another three for possession, coupled with four additional counts of drug paraphernalia possession.
The trial, which unfolded before Common Pleas Judge Stephen A. Corr, spanned three days, during which Grant attended only the initial two. His absence on the concluding day—a detail that underlines his current status as a fugitive—precipitated the revocation of his bail. The conviction stems from a 2023 investigation conducted by the Bucks County Detectives Drug Strike Force, as well as contributions from a coalition of law enforcement bodies, including the South SWAT Team and Falls Township Police Department.
Grant's trial has caught the public's eye not just for the severity of the charges, but also due to the implications of his fugitive status. As noted in the Bucks County release, the collaborative effort among various segments of law enforcement played a pivotal role in the investigation leading to Grant's conviction. With bail revoked and Grant on the run, law enforcement officials urge any persons with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
