Firefighters from surrounding communities, inclusively fighting the flames, were called in to assist the Beaver Dam Fire Department. The North Hills Mobile Home Park was the site of the incident. Efforts concentrated on the rear of the mobile home, where the fire was contained but left behind considerable smoke and water damage throughout.
"Mutual Aid was provided by Burnett, Waupun, Juneau, Columbus, Horicon, Randolph, and Fox Lake Fire Departments," the Beaver Dam Fire Department noted in a Facebook post. Additional coverage for the Beaver Dam area during the emergency was provided by the Hustisford and Watertown Fire Departments as the flames were being fought. This collaboration underscores the readiness and community spirit emblematic of the region’s emergency services.
The salvage and overhaul operations, critical following such a conflagration, had firefighters on the scene for an extended duration. As reported by WMTV 15 News, this effort is a testament to their commitment to thoroughly mitigating the damage and ensuring the safety of the structure post-fire. For several hours, the firefighters remained, meticulously working through the remnants and potential hazards left by the blaze.
While the event interrupted the weekend’s cadence for residents of the North Hills Mobile Home Park, the emergency response exhibited by the various fire departments highlights a silver lining of camaraderie and professionalism. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire, and the cause of the fire has not been released to the public at this time.
