The Philadelphia Police Department has issued an urgent appeal to the public to assist in the search for Kenneth Bantum III, a 25-year-old Black male who has been reported missing from the city's 39th District. The young man was last seen nearly three weeks ago, on November 27, at about 5:30 PM as he departed his home on the 2700 block of N. Gratz Street. Bantum has not returned home, and his current location remains unknown.
Given the duration since Bantum was last seen, authorities are escalating their efforts to locate him. His appearance includes a thin build at 5'10" tall, weighing 165 lbs, with shaved black hair and brown eyes. On the day he went missing, he was dressed in a black Adidas jacket, black Adidas pants, and black FILA sneakers. There is a possibility that Bantum may be traveling toward Atlantic City or Wildwood in New Jersey, as indicated in an alert provided by the Philadelphia Police Department official blotter.
The Northwest Detective Division of the Philadelphia Police Department is spearheading the investigation and has asked that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kenneth Bantum get in touch as soon as possible. Recognizing the critical nature of community involvement in such cases, officials hope that increased public vigilance will lead to Bantum’s safe return.
Community members should direct any relevant information or sightings of Bantum to the authorities without delay. Those with information can contact the Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3353 or, in cases where immediate action might be necessitated, dial 911. In a time of such uncertainty, the shared efforts of the public and police become the beacon that might bring Kenneth Bantum III back to a place of safety and reunion with a family who awaits him.
