David Caleb Crosby, a 35-year-old man from Phoenix, turned himself in and was arrested for his alleged role in the January 6 Capitol breach. He faces charges including assaulting officers, entering restricted areas, and using physical force. The Department of Justice filed the criminal complaint in the District of Columbia, according to the U.S Attorney's Office.

Crosby will have his first court appearance in Arizona after turning himself in. Documents say he charged into barricades at the Capitol during the riot. Even after police used chemical irritants, Crosby kept pushing into the police line, as reported by the U.S Attorney's Office.

The FBI’s Phoenix and Washington Field Offices worked together to arrest Crosby, who was wanted for assaulting a federal officer during the Capitol riot. The U.S. Capitol Police and the Metropolitan Police also helped with the investigation. Since January 6, over 1,572 people have been charged, with more than 590 facing serious charges for assaulting or interfering with law enforcement. The investigation is still ongoing, and the FBI encourages anyone with information to come forward. Crosby, like all defendants, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court, as stated by the U.S Attorney's Office.
