The Ludington Police Department is intensifying their search efforts for Lee Gordon-Wayne Hansen, a 35-year-old registered sex offender who is currently a fugitive from justice. Hansen is wanted for troubling charges that include third-degree criminal sexual conduct, possession of child sexually abusive material, and solicitation of a minor. UPNorthLive reported that since the initial plea for public assistance earlier this week, additional victims have come forward in northern Michigan, prompting a multi-county response to the growing investigation.
Hansen is known to regularly visit Osceola County, Mason County, Manistee County, and Grand Traverse County. Known for using social media to target and gain the trust of his victims, police stated that Hansen often disguises himself as a peer.
The Ludington Police Department posted on Facebook, stating, "If you or someone you know has had interactions with Hansen, please report them immediately to Det. Miller at the Ludington Police Department."
