A second teenager has been arrested in connection with the shooting at Dilworth Park ice rink in Philadelphia, which left three other teens injured, one critically. According to CBS News Philadelphia, the 14-year-old was taken into custody yesterday, and authorities have issued a warrant for another 14-year-old in relation to the same incident.

Police are actively looking for the third suspect, this development comes after an initial arrest of another 14-year-old shortly post the event last Friday. In a statement obtained by NBC Philadelphia, Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore mentioned that the tragic event escalated from a dispute believed to have started over someone picking on another's brother.

The shooting occurred last Friday, around 4:30 p.m., following an altercation beside the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink. Vanore detailed, in a news conference, that the situation devolved into gunfire which resulted in three teens suffering gunshot wounds. A concerned visitor of the park, George Driver, expressed his shock to NBC Philadelphia, articulating the unexpected terror that broke out "for no reason."

As of the last report, the most grievously injured, a 14-year-old boy, remains in critical condition after being shot in the face and undergoing multiple surgeries. One of his wounds controversially believed to have cost him an eye, according to Deputy Commissioner Vanore's comments to CBS News Philadelphia. Two other victims, one aged 15 with a thigh injury and another 14-year-old with a calf wound, are reported to be in stable condition.

All suspects, including the one now in custody and the one initially detained, are facing charges of aggravated assault and other related offenses. Deputy Commissioner Vanore confirmed the pursuit of further individuals involved in the shooting, vowing to ensure all responsible are charged, as reported by 6abc. The police encourage anyone with information to come forward and contact the Philadelphia Police Department's Shooting Investigation Group or to submit anonymous tips.
