According to FOX 29, the accident happened at around 11:42 a.m. at the intersection of Chamounix Drive and Ford Road. The woman was operating a silver Nissan, traveling eastbound, at what appeared to be a high rate of speed when her car crossed the double yellow lines and collided with a tree.
Emergency responders arrived soon after the crash, with medics from the Philadelphia Fire Department declaring the driver deceased at the scene by 12:05 p.m., as reported by Daily Voice Drexel Hill-Upper Darby.
