Denver residents can expect a sunny day with highs near 43 degrees, as per the latest update from the National Weather Service. The calm before the flurry comes with south winds at around 6 mph. Temperatures will drop to a low of around 20 degrees, as reported by the National Weather Service.
Looking ahead to Thursday, there's a more significant chance of snow, 50 percent. The overcast sky will likely contribute to the chill, with the high for the day expected near a frosty 30 degrees. North winds will whip up to 11 mph, gusting as high as 18 mph, yet new snow accumulation is predicted to be light, less than a half-inch. Thursday night's forecast suggests mostly cloudy conditions shifting to clear skies with lows plummeting to around 9 degrees.
The Weather Outlook indicates no hazardous weather conditions for today or tonight. However, the weekend brings the likelihood of more snowflakes. Saturday has a slight chance of snow after 11 am, merging with partly sunny conditions and a high near 41 degrees. The chance of snow extends into Sunday as well, albeit mostly sunny skies are expected during the day.
Denver's weather pattern seems to continue its dance between sunny days and snowy nights. After Monday's dose of sunshine and highs nearing 34 degrees, Tuesday swings back to sunny with a high near 38. This rollercoaster of conditions is no surprise for the winter season in this region, with temperatures remaining below normal into the coming week. For those with a keen eye on the sky, the Weather Service confirms, that Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight, however, any snowfall reports will be appreciated.
