Friday night's conditions will quickly shift, bringing snow showers before 7 p.m. and ushering in colder air that will lower nighttime temperatures to about 24 degrees. Blowing in with a north wind traveling at 7 to 11 mph, residents could see an additional snow accumulation of less than a half inch.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday promises some respite with partly sunny skies and highs near 30 degrees. The north wind, now a gentle companion, will meander at around 7 mph before adopting an easterly course later in the day. Temperatures at night are forecasted to stay consistently cold with a cloudy cover embracing a low around 23 degrees.
Sunday's weather throws in a 30% chance of rain and snow before 1 p.m., Highs are expected to rise to a more comfortable 43 degrees, with overcast skies. Moving into Sunday night, cloud cover persists, with lows resting near 35 degrees.
The start of the next work week will remain mostly cloudy with highs near 42 degrees on Monday, dropping to a low around 23 at night. Tuesday's high retreats to near 30, while Tuesday night introduces another likelihood of snow as clouds continue to dominate the sky and the temperature lowers to about 25 degrees. Wednesday then rounds out the forecast with the possibility of more rain and snow amid cloudy conditions and highs near 34 degrees.
