Last Friday, Fairfield law enforcement officers were dispatched to a hotel on Business Center Drive following reports of a vehicular burglary in progress. Information from the Fairfield Police Department disseminated through a social media post, indicated that a tan car carrying signs of rear-end damage was involved in the incident.

A member of the patrol unit, acting on an intuition that the suspects might continue their criminal spree near the first crime scene, requested additional officers to canvas the nearby hotels. This hunch proved accurate when, soon after, the alleged perpetrators pulled into another hotel parking lot. The suspects, three juveniles from Vallejo, were apprehended in the suspect vehicle.

The immediate identification by the victim cemented their association with the initial crime. Simultaneously, it came to light that another burglary at a different hotel occurred on the same night. That victim also identified stolen items found within the suspects' possession.

An array of suspected stolen goods was retrieved from the car, including a wallet with identification. This particular ID resonated with the officers, who had filed a theft report for that individual just the night before. Their investigation tied the youths to three additional vehicle burglaries from the previous night. Ultimately, two more victims from those incidents were reunited with their belongings.

The consequences for the three males, ranging in age from 14 to 16, included arrest and charges for multiple vehicle burglaries, possession of stolen property, probation violation, possession of burglary tools, and conspiracy.
