As the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans prepares to host Super Bowl LIX next month, Verizon has announced plans to bring the NFL excitement to fans across the country. On February 9, Verizon will turn stadiums and venues in 30 NFL markets into FanFest celebrations, the company said, according to ABC10.

To clarify, fans don't need to wear their favorite team's colors to participate. Anyone can virtually claim free tickets to join the event, which will include activities like taking selfies from the 50-yard line or spiking a ball in the end zone, as reported by ABC10. The event is designed to connect fans across the country in what former Giants quarterback Eli Manning referred to as the largest simultaneous Super Bowl party ever.

The event aims to offer more than just entertainment, focusing on creating an inclusive and immersive experience. Manning described this approach in a statement to ABC10, stating, "It's music, food, having things for kids and families. It's about enjoying the experience while watching the game." This reflects the effort to bring the Super Bowl experience to a wider audience, traditionally focused in one city.

Local legends and musical talents will be featured at each location, giving the nationwide festivities a distinctive touch. For example, the Los Angeles Rams' Mariachi band and the Houston Texans Gameday presentation team will contribute to the event's unique regional atmosphere. "Super Bowl LIX is the most anticipated sporting event of the year but few get to experience it in person; we wanted to bring that collective excitement and energy to fans across the country with once-in-a-lifetime access they’ll never forget," Leslie Berland, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Verizon, told News 3 Las Vegas.

Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas will host a virtual Super Bowl LIX celebration, with Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers serving as the host, according to News 3 Las Vegas. From Seattle to Miami, the Verizon FanFest will offer something for fans in each location, even with winter conditions in their hometowns. Whether or not their team has made it to the Super Bowl, fans from across the country can participate—digitally or in person—to enjoy the event.
