To partake in this potential fast track to employment, applicants are encouraged to apply online for positions such as Head Start/Early Head Start teacher assistant, Head Start/Early Head Start teacher aide, or Head Start teacher, solidifying their eligibility for an on-site interview. However, applications must be in by noon on the day of the fair. Additionally, the county outlined the array of benefits that accompany these positions, including 11 paid and two floating holidays, a generous package of over 18 days of paid time off accumulated throughout the year, the possibility of tuition reimbursement, and eligibility for the Florida Retirement System.
