The House Judiciary Committee has rolled out a dedicated new page for the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, which offers a thorough look at its investigative proceedings and findings. As detailed on their official website, the Subcommittee has documented several alleged instances in which entities within the federal government are accused of being turned against American citizens.
A noteworthy point from the Subcommittee's findings is the suggestion of undue influence on Big Tech companies by the administration, with Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg reportedly admitting to censoring content in response to pressure from the Biden-Harris White House. The Subcommittee has also cast a spotlight on whistleblowers, claiming they have been emboldened to speak out against retaliation from the Department of Justice and the FBI. Furthermore, efforts of the Subcommittee have contributed to the shutdown of certain organizations like the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) and the Stanford Internet Observatory, which were accused of restricting free speech.
Moreover, the Subcommittee shared revelations about the alleged misuse of federal law enforcement against citizens, resulting in policy changes at the Department of Justice and the IRS. Additionally, evidence was disclosed suggesting that the Biden campaign collaborated with 51 former intelligence officials to influence the 2020 election by labeling the Hunter Biden laptop story as Russian disinformation just weeks before the election.
