The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office is currently on the lookout for a man and woman believed to be involved in two attempted burglaries in Centennial. According to Denver7, the pair made their attempted foray into private homes last month and remain at large.
Officials detailed that the attempted break-ins occurred within blocks of each other on January 15, with the first incident reported at 1:53 p.m. and the second soon after, at 2:20 p.m., KDVR reports. The closeness in both time and geography suggests a coordinated effort by the suspects to target the Centennial community.
A Centennial homeowner managed to disrupt one of these incidents, effectively scaring off the intruders. Investigators have linked a 2007 or 2008 silver Mitsubishi Galant sedan, which was seen with no license plates to the events of that day, as per 9News, highlighting the car's features including a sunroof which could aid in the identification of the suspects.
