After a tense couple of days, a missing 14-year-old Detroit boy has been safely located, Detroit Police confirmed. Noah Jones-Walker, who reportedly left his home on Woodingham near Livernois and Outer Drive without permission last Friday, was found after he disappeared, wearing red Uggs and carrying the weight of worry upon his family and community.
As detailed by the Detroit Police, Jones-Walker is 5'6" and weighs 201 lbs. His red and black hair distinguishes him. When he vanished, he was wearing a black coat—the color of his sweatshirt was not disclosed—gray shorts and red Uggs. This description had been widely shared in the hopes of a swift resolution to his disappearance.
Information about Noah's whereabouts during his absence has not been disclosed. Still, the relief resonated through the digital sphere when the Detroit Police Department's Missing Facebook page succinctly posted, "Noah Jones-Walker has been recovered. Thank you for your assistance." The announcement, sparing in words, nevertheless conveyed the conclusion of the community's collective concern.
