
A 37-year-old man was stabbed last night in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, marking a concerning episode of violence in the bustling area. The incident occurred at the intersection of Broadway and East Pike Street at approximately 7:48 p.m., based on a report received by a dispatcher. Responding officers found the man with a stab wound to his torso, as noted by the Seattle Police Department.
An examination by detectives suggested that the victim had been involved in an altercation leading up to the stabbing. After the suspect inflicted the wound, he was seen fleeing on foot in a westerly direction. Despite an immediate search by officers, the individual in question remained large.
